If you look back to your favorite teachers, you will
recognize common factors like an enthusiasm for the subject matter they taught, and the way they made learning fun.
Attending their class was the highlight of your school day. It is
likely you developed a lasting enthusiasm for that particular subject
because they made it meaningful to you.
As an Elementary Physical Education teacher, your ultimate
outcome should be to instill in your students an appreciation of and a
passion for movement.
At JSU, we teach our students all the tools necessary to ignite that passion, so when they earn their first teaching position, they will create a PE program where students literally can’t wait to get to school every
morning because . . . “Today is PE!!"

JSU Students - We Build Relationships...We Have Fun...We Learn!
You don’t stop playing because you grow old;
you grow old because you stop playing!!!
